Recently I’m enjoying being a mother more and more.
We celebrated my son’s second birthday with a decorated meal the other day.
When my son saw the plate his eyes were set on it and when he saw my Mama-made Anpanman meal he was so happy.
That was the one of the happiest moments for me in a long time.
Before I had my son, Toshi, I was not really a child person and during my pregnancy I was not sure what sort of parent I would become or whether I could become a good mother. I was also little disappointed when I found out my baby was a boy.
But since the moment I gave birth to Toshi, I love him so much and I love to watch him develop. At the same time I sometimes wonder if he will stay like he is now for longer, so I keep a record of his development here.
Recently Toshi has started
・talking in sentences with a few words
・reading (looking at) picture books by himself
・fascinated by vehicles, especially by buses (and liking using Nimoca card on buses.)
・using his charm or pretending to cry and manipulate his mum
・waving at people in the streets and enjoy the attention
・wanting to use keys, iPhone, any remote controls, anything with buttons
・wanting to do the same things that we adults do
When I am at Global Cafe I miss Toshi so much but at the same time he is my motivation to work hard (and cook better)!!
